Rodriguez has worked in motion capture on films such as “Mirror Mirror” by Relativity Media. Her theatre work covers London west end and fringe productions such as ”Invitation to a Beheading” for what she received outstanding reviews, “The Tour” at the London Palladium and touring ”King Arthur”. She is a voice over artist for documentaries, commercials, animation and corporate recordings with credits including clients such as Warner Bros, The BBC and Amazon among others.
She has also been a radio and TV presenter, this is in addition to undertaking collaboration on projects such as the book “The Actor and the Camera” by Denis Lawson. Further productions include organisations such as RSA, Panavision with Joe Dunton for The BSC, The Hollywood Film Institute and The Screen Writers Studio with Chris Vogler, John Truby and Guillermo Arriaga.
Magda is a versatile British actor who has appeared in over fifteen feature films and thirty shorts covering all genres from period drama to horror and comedy. Her credits include the award winning western “Six Bullets to Hell” shot at Sergio Leone Studios, “The Fast and The Furious 6” with Dwayne Johnson, the fantasy horror “The Coven” alongside Dexter Fletcher and “Sit in Silence” also awarded at London’s Sci-fi 48 Hour Film Challenge. Her latest roles are in “Temporarily Lost” opposite Nick Moran and the docudrama “The Last Hours of Tom Petty” by ITV.
She spent her early years in Spain where she was later on named patron of “The International Film Expo in the Canary Islands”. She moved to London as a young adult and after attaining a BA (Hon) Modern Languages degree (fluently bilingual in Spanish) she continued to study Performing Arts at The Method Studio and The City Lit, with additional preparation at The Actors Centre and Webber Douglas as well as in Meisner technique. Magda is a Life-time Berlinale Talent Campus Alumni, she was also selected for “Film Lab” and “The Actors Cut” including tutorials by Tom Conti and Ewan McGregor supported by The UK Film Council, Equity, Skillset and The Scottish Actors Studio.
Magda is passionate and driven, even performing on stage with a broken limb and once taking a broad sword full to the face in front of a live audience at The Globe have not slowed her down! (What doesn't kill you…) She thrives on challenges and loves to dig deep into the psyche of the roles she plays. She also has a great love for animals and live music, a gig with Hendrix, Joplin and AC/DC would be the dream line-up.
